DSP&S 生涯探索 & 规划 Certificate Program

These 课程 are designed for adults with developmental and/or intellectual differences who have an interest in finding realistic and meaningful employment. 其中很多 课程 are also appropriate for students with “hidden” differences including anxiety, depression, bipolar disorder, etc. (speak to your DSPS counselor for options). It is recommended that students have a working knowledge of basic English reading and 写作技巧.

The 生涯探索 and 规划 Program is designed for students who want to learn more about themselves and explore different career options. Students must receive at least 70% in both classes in order to receive a certificate.

Required 课程 (complete 课程 in this order):

  • DSPS 1001 生涯探索
    In this introspective course you will examine your own interests, values, and skills to determine a meaningful career path. 你会 also analyze your wants and needs of the job as well as barriers that may be keeping you from getting employment.
  • DSPS 1002 职业生涯 规划
    In this course, you will take your knowledge from DSPS 1001 to research the job options you found and decide what type of job you think you would like to apply for. 你会 then begin setting goals to get ready for the application process.

A Certificate of Completion is awarded upon successful completion of all required 课程.

  1. Check course availability in Schedule of Classes

    To find 课程 in the class schedule, look for the subject “残疾种马项目 & 服务公司数控”.

  2. What type of student are you?

    Follow these steps if you are new to PCC OR returning after an absence of 1 or more 主要的学期(s):

    2. Receive Welcome Letter via email
